Yeah, but yearly tuition for the big name universities in Canada such as University of Toronto, Waterloo, or McGill are around 7k max and 10k to 15k with boarding and books. On the other hand, you have to pay up to 50k (with boarding included) per year in various instances to go to top schools in America.

That's the difference Tarquin was speaking of.

That is, if no one goes on strike wink

I kid, I kid.

That's why I didn't mention York wink

Well you know what they say.

If you can pick up a fork you can go to York.

The wimmin at York are top knotch and make me go RAWR at every twist and turn in the hallways of campus.

Of course, I don't know how that would be a selling point for someone gay like you.

It's not.

I also just made fun of York for semi-professional publication. ninja

Don't worry, I also made fun of Queen's, Brock, and U Vic at the same time.

It's easy for Canadians (like myself) to sit here and be all:

"Omigawd, Americans are so fat and stupid." but really, not all Americans are like that. You have the richest country in the world and you contribute the most to international efforts. (So much so that the UN can do nothing without you.) Sure you've made mistakes but not enough to be condemned.

The fact is, George Bush messed it all up for you.

To be fair, I think there was pretty strong anti-Americanism around the world even before Bush. He just helped it go up a notch...

Like the ICC, the Geneva Convention, the Ottawa Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol, the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention... the list goes on and on and on.

So I assume you must mean monetary contributions, because you're obviously not referring to any record of obligations fulfilled. How exactly do you guys manage that anyways? I was under the apparent misconception that you effectively have no money.

I think Canada is to be taken as our less violent, better-mannered brother. That's how I see Canada, at least. It's kinda nice. I've never had anything against Canada before and never seen a person who completely despises it, so you're doing something right. ^_^

What if right now we got rid of everyone with the political authority to kill other people, and everyone who would take their place?

--

I'm not sure when, but humanity has somehow progressed from "Don't hit your brother" to "Don't bomb that city."

usa!! USA!! usa!!

Why go to any of these schools when you can go to UWO?
