I am completely addicted to hair color.


If my natural hair wasn't that disgusting thin strands,
curly hair that breaks before reaching the bust, I would
go crazy with colors like some of the people I know. ;o;

For natural colors/hi lights/lo lights I feel this way

- Brunettes are also moving colder & darker with ash tones.
- Blondes won’t go brunette as much this year, but will have an ash tone.
- More redheads with blonde highlights.

Is this the year more people start using unnatural,
bright colors? Other than the alternative kids?
I have a strange Abbey Lee addiction, love the shape
of her face, yet her teeth scare me.

ohh I reallly like the look of the ashy blonde because that is what my natural hair looks like
and I really like the kool-aid ends very trendy but also I like that its more pastel and washed out
hopefully these looks stay around

Lucky~ I think ash blondes are lovely.

I have a dark golden blonde
and I am not a fan of it. I kept my hair a natural black for three years.
Finally stripped it and lifted it up to a blonde. Took two and a half
months though. Still trying to tone out more the yellow though.
Silver shampoo and my hair is not agreeing. I might just go back
down to black, slowly. Level by level.


Agreed. Well I just love unnatural hair colors either way. If it's
super bright I hope their skin tone and clothing balances it out
nicey, but the faded pastels are quite cute. 4laugh

One of my girlfriends has hair that flamboyant red,
she's such a quiet and shy girl with such a loud
hair color. xd

It is quite a lovely color, but red fades extremely fast.
So there will be less washing of the hair, more
color protective shampoos + conditioners, a lot
of color & heat protection for styling. It seems like
an expensive upkeep, but for a color like that it
would be totally worth it. heart 4laugh

I like the colorful ends. I'd love to do something like that but with shorter hair.


That would be easy enough. Get some aluminum foil and prepare
the strips to cover the ends nicely. Mix up some bleach + toner +
developer. Part the hair, depending on the length. Put foil under that
part, cover ends with bleach, fold foil up once. Keeps the bleach from
going everyone else. Do not fold more than once or the bleach won't
be able to oxidize as well. You can use 40 volume on the ends of
your hair, but not near the roots. 40 is more for the super dark hair.

It's also smarter to take it in steps to avoid breakage. Like bleach once
with a 20-30 volume, 45-50 minutes. Deep condition, wait a week, bleach
again. Then put on the unnatural hair color. 8D

I think the trend of hair-colouring is going away though. Straight out to the scene kids.

My hair was teal recently, it faded out to green and I was sad.
Not enough money to deal with the upkeep right now.
So I went to a blond. I hate blond on myself. Might go back
to black at this point.

All high fashion models have horrible teeth. It's strange to
me. Maybe America is one of the few countries that are
hardcore into straight, white pearly teeth question

I have a natural red tint in my medium brown hair, so I've been thinking of going to a really deep red-auburn. Might as well has some fun. I really get annoyed with the brown a lot of the time so dying it gives me a nice change.
